Grasping this truth in our innermost being is essential—it’s a force multiplier. The Enemy, Satan, seeks to instill fear, mediocrity, and silence, crushing our dreams with confusion, insecurity, and obscurity. If he can't convince us that we are insignificant, he tries to make us believe that God only cares about our souls and spiritual condition, ignoring our daily lives.
Romans 8:28 reminds us, “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” When we discuss your dreams, we acknowledge that knowing God and the dreams He places in your heart are significant. The Creator, who made you in His image, has given you a purpose and a reason for your dreams. You are anointed and called to action.
Mary Scott, a missionary in China during the Japanese invasion, stated, “To see the need is to experience the call.” She referred not just to something that captures your interest but to the fire, passion, and "inescapable ought" that God places in the hearts of His people.
The foundation of knowing God and knowing yourself is confirmed when you recognize the call, the dream, and the desire He places within you. We trust in His promise: Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." When God places a desire in your heart, He will fulfill it as you step forward in faith.
